Buy Your Ticket For Good: Catholic Charities’ New Home Raffle To Raise Money For Meals On Wheels

This summer, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is partnering with Touchstone Living to raffle off a brand new home or cash prize to raise money for the Meals on Wheels program. Las Vegas-based homebuilder Touchstone Living, is providing a choice of a new home in the Crimson Collection within the Watercolor Planned Community in North Las Vegas or $250,000 cash for the raffle prize. To win the new home or cash prize, participants can purchase one or more raffle tickets, with all funds raised going to support the Catholic Charities Meals on Wheels program. Tickets must be purchased by July 31st with the winner being drawn and notified in early August.

Meals On Wheels Las Vegas

Catholic Charities has been providing Meals on Wheels services for older adults in the greater Las Vegas area since 1975 to help combat food insecurity in our community. Serving balanced meals to around 2,450 clients every week throughout the year, it is one of the biggest programs in the state of Nevada. With a wide reach in the community, this program helps to decrease food insecurity in Las Vegas and provide a friendly face for those who may be homebound. 

To fund this program, Catholic Charities receives grants that cover 60% of the cost, with the other 40% needing to be fundraised. This year, Touchstone Living is helping incentivize donations through the new home raffle. The Touchstone Living Home

The prize home is a newly built three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhome located at 2870 Heritage Gold Court as a part of the Crimson Collection in North Las Vegas. Found in the Touchstone Living Watercolor Planned Community, this home has access to resort-like amenities such as courtyards, a playground, a pool, and more. The home itself also includes a two-car garage, walk-in closet, and laundry room.

Purchase Raffle Tickets to Donate to Catholic Charities

Tickets can be purchased on the raffle website, individually for $25 each, five tickets for $100, or 10 tickets for $500. There is no limit on the number of tickets purchased per person; see the official rules to know more. The money raised by the sold raffle tickets is being donated by Touchstone Living to Catholic Charities’ Meals on Wheels service for seniors.
