Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada Steps Up as a Holiday Support Hub for Vulnerable Residents

December 18, 2025

Community partners join forces with Catholic Charities to provide holiday meals, aid and children’s gifts

Las Vegas – Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (CCSN) organized and hosted several special holiday events this month while continuing its mission to support the region’s most vulnerable residents. December highlights include:

93.1 The Mountain “Mountain of Toys” Toy Drive!

By December 18, generous community donors will have completed a community-wide drive to gift toys, basic necessities and food for the holiday season to 715 children and registered families of CCSN. Thanks to 93.1 the Mountain and Rebel Stores, Catholic Charities will receive a truckload of toys and bikes gifted to CCSN clients. Throughout November and December, as they sourced donations from the community, Rebel Stores and The Mountain team of volunteers exchanged donated toys for Gift Cards to the House of Blues. Donors who contributed bikes also received tickets to live performances, including Santana or Joan Jett. Rebel Stores also made an additional monetary donation to support Catholic Charities’ broader operations.
