Learning a second language is hard, especially when doing it on your own. At Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, we help you through this mission, offering free English as a second language classes. From beginners to advanced, we offer a range of levels to help you grow and become more functional with English. Are You Eligible For Our Online ESL Classes?

Catholic Charities English classes are available to anyone looking to learn English! These classes are an integral part of our immigrant and refugee programs, helping new community members feel more comfortable and independent. Because our classes are a hybrid with online and in-person, you get the benefit of face-to-face teaching as well. You must be 16 years of age or older to enroll, and may not be currently enrolled in a secondary school. We want our program to help those who may not have an opportunity to take ESL classes otherwise. Our goal is to help as many people as possible, so register for our free online English classes and start or continue learning now.

Registering For Our Free English Classes

Since our English as a second language program is online, you can take classes from anywhere. Registering for our classes requires a few forms which will tell you more details about the program. After finishing registration, you’ll take a placement test so you are enrolled in the proper level for your current knowledge. Our English class for beginners teaches you the basics which you’ll build on throughout the rest of our class levels. Our teachers are always here to help, working with you to ensure you have a working understanding of grammar, reading, and speaking skills. If you are already familiar and somewhat comfortable with English, you will likely be placed in our intermediate or advanced class, expanding and deepening your skills.
