Catholic Charities Community Services

Our organization works to help people in all aspects of life including food security, employment, housing, and immigration. We operate the Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry where families and individuals can do a monthly trip to get fresh and non-perishable groceries free of charge. We also have a large Meals on Wheels program that serves over 2,000 homebound seniors located in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. Another food service we provide is a daily free meal at our St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility where guests can receive a fresh, nutritious meal.

Aside from food services, Catholic Charities also offers affordable housing solutions and emergency homeless shelters to those in need. Through our Immigration and Migration services, we administer English language courses, youth mentorship, and assistance getting settled and becoming self-sufficient in America.

Volunteer Work Near You

Community service opportunities are easy to find and sign up for with Catholic Charities. We offer remote and in-person opportunities to support the Las Vegas community and also accept financial, food, and certain item donations. Holding a donation drive with an organization you are a part of or volunteering to serve a meal at our dining facility are two of the amazing ways you can get involved this summer.
