Thanking Our Contributors: The Heart of Hope Luncheon
Every May, Catholic Charities makes a point to recognize and appreciate our donors as we celebrate our organization’s anniversary. 2025 marks the 13th year we will be hosting the Heart of Hope Luncheon and the 84th anniversary of Catholic Charities. Through monetary donation, volunteering, and more the people and organizations we will be recognizing this year have made considerable contributions to the Catholic Charities mission. Our mission continues to be serving and providing hope for those in our community, no matter their race, religion, or creed.
2025 Honorees
This year, we will be recognizing JVC Architects and Martin-Harris Construction, and our former president and CEO Deacon Tom Roberts. These people and companies have allowed us to serve our community and prepare us for a long-lasting and fruitful future. Having this yearly luncheon as a form of donor appreciation highlights how we are able to further the Catholic Charities mission through impactful community engagement.
Thanks to JVC and Martin-Harris Construction, we now have a strong infrastructure, allowing us to continue to serve those in need for years to come.
Thanks to the leadership and service of Deacon Tom Roberts as the Catholic Charities President and CEO for the last 12 years, we have grown as an organization and been able to reach an even wider community.
Celebrating 84 Years of Service
Catholic Charities is also celebrating our 84th anniversary this year during the luncheon. Serving as a safety net for those in need, our variety of offerings include an extensive Meals on Wheels program, Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry, immigration services, emergency night shelter for men, and more.
Through our range of services we are able to help so many people in our community, usually 4,500 each day. These services however, are only possible with the help of donations and volunteers. Although we have a mighty 300-person staff, it’s the community involvement that allows us to reach all of southern Nevada.
Our philanthropy’s focus is helping those in need through not only providing for their physical needs, but also providing hope and community to support and uplift them.
