How to Become a Volunteer

  1. For individuals, submit an Individual Volunteer Application. Once your application is processed, a password reset link will be sent to your email so you will be able to view all volunteer opportunities and schedule service. Please note minor applications (age 12-17) will not be processed until the Minor Release Form is completed and emailed to the Volunteer Team.
  2. For groups of 5 or more, submit a Group Application and we will contact you to schedule your group (If you need service hour verification, you must submit an individual application).

*All volunteers must be scheduled in advance through the online system – walk-in volunteers are against our policy and hours will not be recorded or verified unless service is scheduled in advance

  • Minors must be at least age 12 to volunteer.
  • After submitting an individual volunteer application, all minors, ages 12-17, must email a Minor Release Form completed by their parent/guardian to volunteer@catholiccharities.com.
  • Applications for minor volunteers will be processed upon the receipt of Minor Release Form via email.
  • All service must be scheduled in advance through the online system.

Minor Supervision Policy

  • Minors age 12-15 MUST be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times while volunteering; this adult must also complete an Individual Volunteer Application and be scheduled in advance through the online system.
  • Minors age 16-17 may volunteer on their own if they have a vehicle that remains on campus for the duration of their service. If minors are unable to supply their own vehicle, they must serve with a supervising adult.
