WHAT: Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (CCSN) will host a special early Christmas meal to hundreds of homeless and vulnerable men, women and children inside its newly built Outdoor Pavilion. The annual free meal is sponsored by the Frank and Victoria Fertitta Foundation and held in memory of Frank Fertitta Jr.
Adhering to proper health and safety guidelines, the special meal will be served in “to-go” style packaging. Additionally, the open-air facility will provide 210 social distanced seats and tables for those attending the meal.
Under the direction of CCSN’s executive chef and kitchen staff, the team will prepare 1,000 meals for the special event. This year’s menu will include: beef braciole, rigatoni with romesco sauce, green beans amandine and triple-fudge cake.
